Update / Upgrade the appliance
Please consider than, after the Veeam Backup for Google Cloud appliance is added to the Veeam Backup & Replication console, any upgrade or update to the appliance must be done from the Veeam Backup & Replication console, no matter how the appliance was deployed.

Configuration Backup and Restore
It is a best practice that you periodically perform a configuration backup of any Veeam Backup for Google Cloud appliance you have deployed. Usually the Configuration Backup can be performed directly in the Veeam Backup for Google Cloud web UI, but when the appliance is being managed by Veeam Backup & Replication using Google Cloud Plug-in, then this option is disabled from the web UI and the whole Configuration Backup and Restore process can be managed ONLY from the Veeam Backup & Replication console.
